# Receive batch.failed webhooks

> Sent when a batch fails. Return any 2xx response to acknowledge delivery.

Inspect `data.batch` for the batch state at failure, or [retrieve the batch](/api-reference/batches/retrieve) for its current details.

Use [List Webhook Deliveries](/api-reference/webhooks/list) to inspect retained events and [Retry a Webhook Delivery](/api-reference/webhooks/retry) to resend one.
